Sewn throughout the entire perimeter for extra strength is 1 1/2" webbing and we use 316 stainless steel triangle rings in the corners. Our shade sails are made with a high rated UV blocking fabric and are sewn with double rows of locking stitches (not chain stitch). All corners are reinforced.
The cloth is a high-density polyethylene knit that is extremely strong and lasts for years in direct sun. Extra wide fabric is used so there are no seams. Gentle curves along the edges allow for proper tension distribution. When properly tightened and securely attached they can withstand seasonal weather conditions year after year. However, shade sails are not recommended for snow loads.
